***Why did I watch the Scream Trilogy*** As a huge horror fan I was excited when the first scream film was released in 1996 because we had not really had very many good slasher films in recent years. I was also attracted as the horror master Wes Craven had directed the film. The trailer look amazing and it promised lots of blood and gore, so off I trotted to the cinema. Scream 2 was released in 1997 and the final Scream 3 in 2000. Again I had to be one of the first people in the cinema. I have since purchased each of the dvds separately then the trilogy boxset when it was released. ***Cast*** Neve ... Read the complete review

The Scream film series is highly revered for its satirical take on the horror genre after such a long period of routine and murky horrors. Finally a film came along that poked fun at the conventions of the genre while also delivering plenty of gore and some nifty kills. The first film deals with the fall-out of a girl (Drew Barrymore) being murdered in the opening scene, with teen Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and her friends being caught in the middle as each of her buddies gets killed off. Things culminate at a party, where the killer is lurking, and Sidney can well and truly trust no-one. The film spoke to a teen audience without condescension and managed ... Read the complete review

These are without a shadow of a doubt the best teen horror movies ever. I love all 3 of them. They're not exactly scary, although when I first watched it about aged 12 it scared me to death! There have been so many spoofs of Scream namely Scary Movie. The main character in all their films is based on the main character from Scream. As soon as I saw this box set come out on DVD a couple of years ago, I think it was about £22 back then but recently I've seen it in shops for about £14.99 which for 3 such great films is a bargain. The Box set is great, I was tempted to buy the 3 films separately as it would have worked out a bit cheaper but ... Read the complete review

Scream 1-3 are my favorite horror films of all time.. They are not particularly scary but very typical of the teenage American horror films.. I remember sneaking into the cinema when i was about 14 to see it and felt so proud of myself and then couldn't sleep that night thinking i was going to get stabbed lol.. Its starts off with what i can only imagine was drew barrymores shortest part in any film playing Casey Becker who is murdered.. All 3 films are based on Sidney Prescott played by Neve campbell who is one of my favorite actresses originally from party of five. Her mother was killed and its all basically based on what happened to her and ... Read the complete review

When scream 1st came onto our screens as i was only 8 yeras old do dint watch it until a few years later, even though i was more than eager to watch it before. All three screams are definately must see's, and when u get all 3 of them in 1 box set prices ranging from £10-£15 you just cant miss out. Scream THe first film begins with drew Barrymore cooking popcorn gettin ready to watch a scary film. The phone suddenly rings and she begins a strange phone call with a stranger. At first its friendly banter but when she discovers the stranger is watchin her and has her boyfriend tyed up in the next room. She panics and of course this is when we first ...
