Advantages: funny and good
Disadvantages: no
One of the best films to come out of these shores in the last decade.
Shaun is appliance sales man having mid life crises, his life is basically going nowhere. Girlfriend problem, doesn't like work. When Shaun forgets to do something his girlfriend dumps him, Shaun goes to his local pub to drown his sorrows.
Shaun decides to sort out the problems, on the day he chooses to do this is when London (where the film is based) is over run by zombies. Shaun learns of this and decides to save his loved ones from the Zombies in a very British way, cricket bat is one weapon he uses.
I really enjoyed this film, the script is quite funny and relatively fresh, Zombie story thrown in with eccentric couple of characters livens up the lives of the dead and the ones who are living.
You will find references to other zombie films and TV shows like Spaced in which the writer and lead actor were the main characters.
The film was entirely shot in London.
It is a London film and it is very funny and unlike any film before it. This is crucial to the success of the film which it has achieved since its release.
