Who would have thought it would be better than series 1? (Skins - Complete Series 2 (DVD))

Advantages: Great exploration of all the characters

Disadvantages: Last series with this cast

Season 1 was left with a huge cliffhanger and i couldnt wait for the return of season 2. Im sure we all wanted to see what happened to Tony!!

Series 2 has been, by far, the best series of Skins so far. #1 saw us learn about the different characters but #2 really made us fall in love with them all. Series 3 was a different cast altogether (apart from Tony's sister Effy) and i didnt think it was as good as the others.

I dont think i have ever cried so much at a programme. Chris's storyline was so emotional and touching it made me cry over a couple of different episodes. Still, it never fails to make me cry now. I put good programmes down to their ability to make me cry. If they can do that, im a fan. I was also really glad to see that Chris got Jal to come out of her shell in an episode where she couldnt say no to anything. Chris and Jal made a great couple, even though they had their problems, im really glad the writers came up with this.

Im really glad we got to see more of Effy in series 2 seeing as she was the main character of series 3. Effy even got her own episode this time. Shes dark, mysterious and only utters a couple of words....sometimes.

This series shows the gangs troubles with the gradual end to college and having to move on to university and real life with even bigger problems than last time. Im not going to give away any thing away about the plots but they were just too good to miss. I havent seen anything else on TV like it, be sure to not miss it!!

Summary: Dont miss it!!
