Advantages: Honest Opinion

Disadvantages: I dont give too much of the plot away

I did not go to the cinema to see this film, purely because there seemed to be a hell of a lot of hype over it. Reluctantly I rented it, MY OPINION CHANGED!! I have not seen a film in a very long time that has kept me as hooked as this one. Dev Patel is brilliant and has made the transition from minor tv star (skins) to a sensation on the silver screen. There are some parts to the film which many critics have argued that dont reflect India. But i say who cares about the 'correctness' of the film (after all it is only a film!!) anyone who watches it will enjoy it i guarantee, there is romance/comedy and a lot of drama. The plot is fairly staright forward, but you do have to keep watching to understand the film. My favourite part is where Jamal and Salim get 'jobs' at the Taj Mahal...in my opinion its worth watching again and aggin just for that scene.

Summary: BRILLIANT FILM....GO SEE IT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY!!
