Slumdog millionaire is a film i think i could watch time and time again, strange really as there are many moments in the film (where Jamal's life is being shown) that are incredibly sad. However the film was not created in the sense of the audience feeling sorry for Jamal but instead you want to back the boy all the way to the top. The film draws you in and is spellbinding as you wait to see whether Jamal really does win his rupee's. The is a film i would definately recommend, it has far more substance than many of the films we see today. It is definatly worth renting or would make a good present. If you want to see what really happens in the real India and you enjoy films with a sense of purpose to them then this is definately the one for you. Great film...highly recommended!
