Soldier Soldier was a long running Army orientated TV series that ran from 1991 to 1997. It was based around the fortunes and misfortunes of the men of B-Company of the King's Fusiliers (later the King's Own Fusiliers). It charts their private and professional lives against some stunning scenery. This 'comedy' is about a group of toy soldiers created and distributed to little kids only to find out that they are part of a military weapon scheme. The ickle soldiers decide to kill their creators. Yawn! A boring movie, rubbish animations that doesn't stand the test of time, unlike Toy Story. Live action and animation combined in a story about an army of aggressive toys rising up against their human creators. The story revolves around a boy who can’t do anything right by his father; they had to move to a new town and start a new life, after he set fire to his school. Having children I am lucky enough to see all the kids videos when they come out and small soldiers must be one of my favourites. Basically Globotech who is looking for a new market now that the defence market is on a decline buys out Heartland toys. One of the toy designers taps Globotech’s supply of military surplus microchips designed for nuclear weapons and decides to use them for a new line of action figures. A good Sunday night Drama about firefighters and their watch. Although recently it has been more about fighters than about the actual fires and putting them out. And with the football an tennis we havent known which Sunday it was on or which not. Some good storylines in London burning especially with Jeff an Fiona and the fact that they are now expecting a baby.
