Advantages: very funny, good story line

Disadvantages: not suitable for young children

I watched south park on channel 4 a couple of times and did not find it particularly funny,when a friend put the feature length video on i wasn't really interested but started 'half' watching it and I'm glad I did as it was surprisingly better than the tv series.
The feature length story follows the exploits of the cartoon character boys from the south park tv series.

The story starts when the boys, much to the annoyence of their parents,go to see an adult rated movie starring 2 canadians, Terrence and Philip who rapidly become the kids heroes due to their bad behaviour and language.

The movie called "asses of fire" is full of naughty language and fart jokes and the kids,stan,kyle,cartman and kenny soon learn some very disgusting new words and phrases which results in their being sent to school rehabilitation.
This prompts stans mother to try and get the film banned by forming a group called 'mothers against canada'.Things get way out of proportion When Terrence and Philip are arrested and sentenced to death and war breaks out between America and Canada.

Meanwhile kenny gets killed (as he does in every tv episode),gets sent to hell and meets the devil,saddam hussain and some other famous people.
The clever and fairly original story comes to its climax when the devil and his side kick saddam come up from hell to rule the world following the execution of terrence and philip.
The jokes are very rude,the phrases are original(what the heck is a rim jaw) and disgusting and some very famous people come under the cosh as well as featuring most of the characters of the series.There are lots of funny and catchy songs.safe to say that about 75% of the content of this movie would never be allowed on tv.
This movie is guaranteed to offend if you are not broad minded or are religous.
The basic animation seems to add to the fun.
I recommend this movie even if you are not a big fan of the tv
series as this is much ruder and funnier.
