It's hard to believe that this movie was release so long ago now back in 1993. I watched it then and bought it recently to add to my DVD collection as I hadn't seen it in a while. I think Sandra Bullock is very good in most of the things she does and Keanu Reeves is always good value too. So what better reason with these two teaming up and a high action movie to boot to go out and buy this. Plus, I picked it up for under £5 so great. To me, Speed, starring the super duo Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, is the ultimate action movie, filled with a thrilling plot, loads of action and just a touch of romance. Speed put Sandra Bullock on the Hollywood map for real, and all though Speed 2 truly was the worst piece of .... ever made, Speed certainly made her a star and paved the way for her outstanding successful career, which recently topped with an Oscar. As for Keanu Reeves, this is my favorite film with him starring in it, all though I got to say that I enjoyed watching him in The Matrix Trilogy as well.
