Just over two years ago Peter Parker physiology changed after the fateful out of school visit. So much has happened in Peters life. He as Spider man apprehends villains yet his own life is in doldrums. Peter decides to give up being super hero.

Fate has something else in store for Peter, Dr. Otto Octavius is doing research which goes wrong, machines overload killing his wife. Dr Otto has mechanical arms fused into his body. Slowly this artificial additions controls his mind and he becomes Doctor Octopus, on an ego trip Octopus robs a bank, Peter reverts to Spider man and stops Octopus but as Octo is escaping he takes Aunt May hostage. Spider Man and Octopus becomes sworn enemies. Peter has problems with best friend Harry Osborn. Mary Jane is living with another man and she may just marry him.

By reading about the plot you will realise that the plot involves lot of personal turmoil in Peter Parker's life. Girlfriend rejecting him, Peter losing his job and ending up penniless. You would think that with his powers he will find it very easy to accumulate money. Well no, Peter doesn't break laws.

I thought the film is about action. It is that but also Peters life is covered comprehensively. This is good for the film. You get two films in one, action and character study and drama of course, Stallone take note.

Spider Man 2 is better film than Spider Man 1. SP1 showed early life of Spider Man SP2 shows his life in turmoil due to the responsibility placed on him.

I recommend this film, it has action, drama and above all it is entertaining.
