Introduction:
Spiderman 2 is a sequel to Spiderman and was released in year 2004. Spiderman 2 is based upon the Marvel Comics character Spiderman. The movie was directed by Sam Raimi and produced by Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin. Script was written by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Michael Chabon. The screenplay was written by Alvin Sargent. Movie has a sequel Spiderman 3.

Cast and Crew:

Tobey Maguire portrays Peter Parker and Spiderman. He is a college student and a photographer for newspaper who clicks the photos of Spiderman. I don't think Spiderman need any introduction.

Kirsten Dunst plays a role of Mary Watson; she is an actress and childhood love of Peter Parker.

Alfred Molina plays a role of Dr. Octopus , a scientist and idol of Peter Parker.

Rosemary Harris portrays May Parker, aunt of Peter Parker.

James Franco portrays Harry Osborn.

Peter Parker is struggling with his life. He has duties to save people as a Spiderman and he also have to live his life as Peter Parker. He already loses his job, his love Mary and his friend Harry because of this responsibility. Dr. Octopus is a scientist and Idol of Peter. He developed a set of mechanical arms for his fusion experiment. While demonstrating this experiment something goes wrong and Octopus refuses to halt the arms. Only neural chip can control the arms. The tentacles start influencing Octopus mind and he is totally out of control and unconscious. Here Peter gets to know that Mary is planning to marry Harry.

Dr. Octopus rebuilds his experiment and he needs tritium to fuel the reactor. He goes to Harry for the same. Harry agrees to make a deal that capture and leave the Spiderman here and take tritium. Dr. Octopus fights with Spiderman on a train. He damages the breaks of the train. Somehow Spiderman stops the train and saves many lives. Dr. Octopus captures him and goes to Harry to deliver Spiderman. Harry gives him tritium. Dr. Octopus captures also Mary Jane. Here when Harry unmasks Spiderman he finds that killer of his father is his best friend Peter Parker. Peter convinces Harry that life of many people in danger. If Octopus will complete his experiment successfully he will destroy the world. Spiderman finds Dr. Octopus in warehouse. He is restarting his experiment. Now what happens next? Do Octopus will be able to complete his experiment? Do Spiderman manage to save the life of Mary and the whole world from Octopus? What will Harry do with Peter after knowing that he is killer of his father? To know all the answers watch"Spiderman-2".

I saw this movie in theater and truly speaking I have only one word to say about this movie "Awesome". Movie is much better than my expectations. The movie is very successful on box office. The movie was listed second in the opening day gross after The Matrix Reloaded. After watching movie I realize that they put a lots of effort to make movie successful. The story is well written. There are some moments when plot slightly slows but I never felt boring while watching. Plot is mix of romance, action and emotions. The movie is well directed and whole credit goes to Raimi. He makes you feel like a participant Tobey Maguire is breathtaking and his performance is tremendous. His expressions and movements are really worth watching. His performance is improved in the sequel and makes the character credible. I found him developed and the only person fit for this role. Kirsten Dunst is okay and I never liked her. The best part of the movie is villain Dr. Octopus. Alfred Molina acts tremendously as Octopus. Now coming to action sequences and visual effects, they are much better and enjoyable than first one. Movie won the Oscar for the Visual effects. The train sequence is the best among all. I strongly recommend this movie to all. Don't miss this great blockbuster. That's all I can give you.
