shaneo632 WWE - Summerslam 2004 (DVD): ... Summerslam 2004 kicked off with a doozy; a six-man tag team match between the The Dudleys (Bubba Ray, D-Von, and Spike), and Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, and Paul London. Although it should have been longer, there s some great interaction between Spike and the cruiserweight team. Second up, Kane and Matt Hardy fight in a "Till Death Do Us Part" match, where whoever wins gains "custody" of Lita...

shaneo632 WWE - Unforgiven 2004 (DVD)
... 2004 is a strange event in as much as it isn t entirely unsatisfying, but the only thing of real significance is actually quite disappointing, in the result of the main event. The show opens with a tag bout, as Chris Benoit and William Regal face Evolution (Ric Flair and Batista). With no belt in sight, and no particularly strong feud, this seems a touch pointless; it s overlong and not much fun. Secndly, Victoria and Trish Stratus fight for the WWE Women s Championship. It s given a good length but the real reason it seems to exist is to set forth the next match, after Tomko attempts to attack Trish and is assailed by a man dressed in women s clothing, who ...

shaneo632 WWE - Backlash 2004 (DVD)
... 2004 is one of those filler pay per views where nothing really happens and in fact, the whole thing could have not taken place and we d be none the wiser - not a single title changes hands, and nothing storyline-related is really important. There are some decent matches, but that s about it sadly. The opening bout is between Shelton Benjamin and Ric Flair. It has Flair up to his old scheming tricks once again, but he is also met by the foil of Benjamin s physical ability. Secnd up is a strange bout between Jonathan Coachman and Tajiri. It s a daft fight and rather pointless in all ways, with a silly and bothersome finish too. Thirdly, Chris Jericho tackles bo...

shaneo632 WWE - Backlash 2006 (DVD)
... 2006 is a rather notorious WWE event; few are going to claim it just recycles WrestleMania, but it does something far more outlandish, and a lot more silly. The event kicks off with Carlito and Chris Masters facing off. The feud is somewhat tame and never had really built into something compelling, so it s hard to really rate this match that highly. Secondly, we have Umaga and Ric Flair facing off, and this is a fairly pointless squash match that does little but establish Umaga as the ever-growing monster heel that he was at the time. Short and utterly forgettable. The third match saw Mickie James and Trish Stratus fight for the WWE Women s Championship. This ...
