Spy Hard (DVD)

I will confess to being something of a spoof addict, and so when I saw this DVD I just had to have it, especially as it stars the king of the parody, Leslie Nielsen. For those of you who don't already know, Leslie Nielsen was the star of Police Squad, the Naked Gun movies and Airplane (along with many other films), which stand as testament to his comic skills. Therefore, you might imagine that a spoof film revolving around the world of espionage, starring the man himself, would be a seriously funny movie. Anthing that takes the mickey out of James Bond and other spy movies has gotta be worth watching, especially if Leslie Nelson is involved. Sadly, this is not the case with Spy Hard This has got to be one of the worst spoofs I have ever seen in my life. There is enough cheese in this movie to top a pizza. It starts off promising but then degenerates into a load of rubbish very quickly Very poor plot, even the great Leslie Nelson can't save this film.
