Advantages: Great production quality, great for home cinema

Disadvantages: Relies on CG too much

A good film - definetely the best of the new star wars films as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not a huge star wars fan generally and definetly not a star wars geek. I could actually take or leave the first and second episodes but I thought this one was much better for some reason. It has a much more engaging storyline than the last two and kept me fairly riveted to the screen.

Without giving too much away to anyone about to watch it I reckon they have done a good job with this film linking the new and old storylines together. There is a lot of "ah that's why such and such is like that in the Emprie strkies back" and so on which is quite fun.

On the downside - as is par for the course, the reliance on computer graphics to create some of the scenes can be frustrating compared to the old models used in the previous films but they have manged to make the CG scenes look pretty realistic which is good.

Summary: The best of the trilogy, even for non star wars geeks!
