of your foot. The only real downside to seasons 8 - 10 was the departure of Richard Dean Anderson, the main man in Stargate . However he has been replaced by two characters wo arguably do a great job of taking O Neill s place. I think it was a great decision to bring in actors Ben Browder, and Claudia Black, because they are really compete opposites in the show, hes the strong leader type, whos unsure at the start what his position should be, and shes just the funny on who dares to take risks. I should make the point clear from the start-I am a HUGE fan of Stargate SG-1 . I think it builds on the success of the film excellently. Despite this I think this is a badly packaged product for several reasons which I will come to in due course. ~The DVD~ This the first volume in a series that has thus far extended to 14 DVD volumes comes on 2 separate DVDs. Disk 1 contains the feature length pilot for the series which is about one and a half hours long (roughly equivalent to two normal episodes) and is set one year after the events of the film Stargate.
