Set in the near future, the world is plagued by a sinister organisation called Shadowlaw. It is led by M. Bison who is an evil mastermind bent on capturing the minds and bodies of the world's greatest fighters to conquer the world by turning them into assasins. Ken and Ryu are 2 legendary martial arts warriors and they are the only ones who could possibly stop Bison. An American soldier (Guile) and a Chinese Interpol agent (Chun Li) are also trying to track Bison down whilst figuring out his master plan. I have been a fan of Streetfighter since my early years so when the Streetfighter 2 animated movie came out I jumped at the chance to add it to my collection and I was truly impressed. The ruler of Shadowlaw (M.Bison) is looking for strong fighters to brainwash in order to become powerful assassins for his organization and he has his sights set on Ryu after he saw how badly he defeated Sagat. Street Fighter 2 the Animated Movie is jam packed full of action with lots of violence and swearing. The plot is very like the ones in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, capturing each characters personalities with precision. In my opinion, I feel that this Street Fighter film is far more superior to the Street Fighter film starring Jean Claude Van Damme. Street Fighter 2 the Animated Movie is a must see movie! First off the plot, Sometime in the future a terrorists organisation is formed with Bison being the ring leader. Its upto the US interpol to deal with him, while Ryu is looking for Ken around the world, however Bision notices Ryu's strenth and tries to find him to join his organisation. However he cannot find ryu but seems as keen to get ken... This film is actually the best manga or coolest manga i have seen so far (it defenitly beats Akira and ghost in the shell,in my opinion anyway).
