Stuck had pretty much no release in the UK theatrically, and a very small American release, but has found an audience on home video, and does the straight-to-DVD medium a lot of justice, with a compelling drama that does favours for two actors who aren't particularly in demand much these days. Mena Suvari cut her teeth on teen films like American Pie and Loser, but hasn't been up to much else, while Steven Rea was thrilling in The Crying Game all those years ago, but aside from V For Vendetta, hasn't had much in way of high-profile fare. This is a great thriller that is unbelievably based on a true story. The film stars Stephen rea who I think is best known for his role in The Crying Game and also Mena Suvari who I havnt really seen in anything else but she did play the role well. The story is based around 4 main characters, Tom played by Rea has just lost his job due to the downturn in the economy, on returning to his apartment he is confronted by his landlord who demands his rent money but as he has no money he is then evicted and wanders around the streets not knowing what to do he is cold and obviously distressed.
