Lately I've become quite intoxicated with spaghetti westerns... which I guess doesn't come as a very big revelation to any of my regular readers. Anyway, there's just something in them that appeals to me, which I attribute to the often brutal stories that are executed with a lot of stylish flair; stories in which it's not always a given that the good guys win, or whether the good guys really are particularly good to begin with.
