** Summary **

Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) are about to graduate from high school. Best friends for years, they face an uncertain future: Evan has been accepted into Dartmouth but Seth will have to attend the local state university. Both boys are still virgins, something they want to correct before leaving for college at the end of the summer. Neither is particularly popular, which is the theme throughout the film.

Things obviously go wrong throughout the film, anything to stop them from "getting laid"

I will be honest, I actually turned off halfway through the film, so I am unsure how it ends, but to be honest, I have no real burning desire to find out!

** My Opinion **

Well, what can I say... I definitely think this film is aimed at teenage boys, and unfortunately I am not one of those! I felt like it was trying to be American Pie but failing miserably. It wasn't funny, it was extremely boring and not entertaining at all. It is a sequence of unconnected events, really bad ramblings (apparently a plot!) and other rubbish stuff that seems to have been shoved in for good measure.

I don't think I have ever turned a film off halfway through, even if I am not enjoying it I like to watch it until the end, you never know, it could get better, but this film just got worse as time rolled (dragged, crawled) on...

I was really disappointed in the actors, they really weren't engaging at all, and I was particularly upset about Michael Cera who was in Juno, and who was, I thought quite good.

If you want to see a funny, engaging, entertaining film about coming (sorry!) of age, then watch American Pie, and steer clear of this!
