Still the best of the comic book heros, althrough visually the 'Batman' films have moved into a higher class. Here Christopher Reeve dons the lycra to set off and save the world from dastardly villain Gene Hackman. Margot Kidder makes her first appearance as Lois Lane, the love of Clark Kent's life. This was the film for which Marlon Brando was paid an outrageous sum for a few seconds on screen. What he does, he does very well, but he just doesn't do very much of it. Good suff, through, unusally, some of the sequels were better.
