Tales of the City is a television series based on a series of novels by the great author, Armistead Maupin. It was released in the UK in 1993 through channel 4 and considered a quite controversial piece of television at the time. Being just 2 years of age when it was originally released I obviously didn't watch it then. However, 16 years later I found myself picking up my mother's copy of the DVD when ill on Boxing Day of last year (ill not hung-over I'd like to stress.) Well, four hours passed during which I watched all 4 episodes back to back.
