~~~Teenwolf~~~ I love this time of year and for some reason I think it gives me an even bigger excuse to watch some classic films from the 80's onwards. Teenwolf was released in 1985 (I was only 7 at the time!) and I have to admit I love this film. But the one thing I can't get my head around is why so many people like to slate ... 80s films are generally revered for their charm and very recognisable aesthetic. Whilst this is true of films such as The Warriors, and certainly Michael J Fox's own Back to the Future series, there are a few duds, chiefly such as his star vehicle Teen Wolf, released in 1985. High school student Scott Howard is encountering some very ... Read the complete review
Teen Wolf One of my favourite 80's movies of all times has to be Teen Wolf. It's one of those that you know all the lines to and can watch over and over again and still not get bored. One of my all time favourite movies. The story sees Scott Howard (Michael J Fox) as a teen at high school in a traditional teen angst genre, trying to buy alchohol, working at his Dad's hardware store and part of a school basketball team. Struggling to be better than average and to gain the affections of a beautiful but self absorbed ... Read the complete review
Teenwolf!!! just found this film again after years of searching for it and watched it last night. It took me back to the good old days, i always loved this film as a little girl and as a woman i still love it, i found it to be cheesy, but it is very entertaining. Scott Howard is the boy next door, who thinks he is average and unimportant. Well, ... Read the complete review
This is one of the classic feelgood comedy movies from the 80s, made when Michael J. Fox was on the top of his form and most popular. The actual idea was ridiculous, but the movie itself strangely compelling and its still a good watch now...well at least for nostalgia reasons. Our diminutive hero plays Scott Howard, a pretty average high ... Read the complete review
