The Pick of Destiny from Tenacious D - a band of two - Kyle Gass and Jack Black. This is the story about how those two met and how they tried to become the best band in the world.
I have to admit I liked JB appearance in School of Rock. I also like their song Tribute with one of the funniest videos I've ever seen. However I suspected that the movie will be just some kind of documentary with couple of songs and thats it. I was wrong.

We meet JB when he's leaving the house as a teenager and heading in unknown direction. On the beach he meets KG and he's shocked with his skills. KG pretends to be a great and well known rocker and he agrees to train JB and eventually to form a group - Tenacious D. As the guys need the money for rent they want to take a part in the rock contest. But for that they need hits. And they are assured that the only thing that helped all other rockers like Eddie van Halen or Dio is the Pick of Destiny which is now held in museum of rock. All they need is a plan.

The movie is full of fun. If you like JB humour you will be rolling on the floor laughing from gig simulator scene, break into museum part, the duel with the devil or young JB's rock with father (who is played by Meat Loaf).

The songs are also tremendous. The melody and the rhymes will keep you smiling for the rest of the day.

Anyway the kind of humour in this movie is rather specific. You either love it or hate it. I watched it and I love it! Do you?
