Tengers (DVD)

Tengers (DVD) ... entire world has never seen. It centers on universal themes of love, friendship and betrayal, mixed with the local specifics of crime, corruption and poverty, presenting a satirical, sometimes laugh-out-loud portrait of South African life. Tengers requires dedicated time from a creative perspective. Over the past 7 years, the project has reached a point where it is now approximately one-third complete. The proposed completion budget of R400,000-00 (approximately US$ 66,000-00) provides Mirror Mountain Pictures with the basic resources to complete the film on a digital format over a 6 month period. (The shoot was completed in December, and it's all cut together - just looking for an audio mix and a blow-up for cinema) Following this, Tengers will be submitted to international film festivals for the purposes of attracting a suitable distribution deal.
