 ... terminator feel to it and continues to further expand on the story. Arnold Schwarzenegger is back alongside Linda Hamilton again giving superb performances. These two really took action movies to another level. It is hard to find a film that compares to what you witness on screen in this movie. It was what the fans including myself were waiting for and it was well worth it. The script is as good as the original, still plenty of memorable quotes. This is the follow up to the hugely successful movie 'The Terminator' that was originally released in 1984. 1991 sees writer and director James Cameron bring us 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day'. This is one of the only films that can be said to better the original (Aliens being another). Now, although this movie is made 7 years after the first it feels a lot more modern. Some of the special effects used are still better than what you see in today's movies. The violence also isn't as brutal and is toned down (though not at all compared to the third - 'Rise of the Machines'). Released in 1991 Terminator 2 heralded in a new age of the mega-blockbuster with massive scope and hugely impressive CGI dwarfed by budgets that could run a small country.
