Advantages: A very nice film, with some good moments, and generally enjoyable.

Disadvantages: Some moments are a bit odd, and the Terminators are rubbish shots.

Don't dispare about the bad reviews, it is a good film! This is the start of Terminator in a way. It is the first film where we see the war fully. There is a bit of a issue with the fact that these robots should be advanced killing machines, and should not really miss by a mile. But apart from that, its good. There are some tense moments, and it really does have some good moments. I can not really spoil them, but in a way, you can almost feel some moments of the film. But I really should mention one thing. The fact is, this film really does have some good action moments, just like all Terminator films should, and the sort that made Terminator, Terminator. There are some faces who bring a smile to everyone when you see them, and some moments that just remind you what film you are watching. The plot is a good 4/5, and I don't really want to spoil any of it. But honestly, this film is worth watching. Its very good, and some of the main reasons people are badmouthing it is that its different. But give it a chance, you WILL like it.

Summary: A film that may have a few shortcomings, but is a good enjoyable film overall.
