... for clones to take over the world, and becomes a one man show to take on the bad guys. Ok, Arnie isn't the best actor, and he's as wooden as ever in this film. However, the plot is pretty interesting. It hits the whole religious, God's the only one who can create life angle really well, and is both entertaining and thought provoking. At its best, it's a high octane action film, using top special effects to produce weapons that make you want to play shooting. However, it's also moral food for thought on a topic that...more

This was one of the first DVDs I bought, and certainly for a long time was one of my favourite films. I don't think I hold it in such high regard now, but back then it certainly made me stop and think. This film is all about a man called Adam Gibson (Arnie Schwarzenegger) who comes home one day to find a clone version of himself has taken his place. He finds himself embroiled in a big conspiracy for clones to take over the world, and becomes a one man show to take on the bad guys. Ok, Arnie isn't the best actor, and he's as wooden as ever in this film. However, the plot is pretty interesting. There’s something about Arnold Schwarzenegger that sets off a claxon in your mind when it comes to movies. He was the archetypal 80’s muscleclad supercharger, with a bodycount in his movies by 1990’s Kindergarten Cop estimated by one fan to be 446, but ever since then his popularity, as well as his credentials have waned. This is strange. When Arnie is away from the lights, the cameras and the action movies he comes across not only as a nice guy but also an intelligent one. His history shows a man with both guile and grim determination. Born July 30, 1947, in the small Austrian town of Graz, Schwarzenegger became a champion bodybuilder before ...  Read the complete review

Mention Schwarzenegger to most people and they will instantly think of the man's action films – they're far more likely to think of 'The Terminator' than to think of 'Junior', or more likely to think of 'Predator' than 'Kindergarten Cop'. This is a blessing, because it means that Arnie can step back into his action shoes, so to speak, without the audience batting an eyelid... with 'Jingle All The Way' conveniently and mercifully forgotten. So, in 2000's main Arnie-based movie, we see him addressing complex moral issues surrounding the future of human cloning. I say 'addressing', but of course, in ...  Read the complete review

The title is a quote from the movie. I just watched this movie yesterday and must say I am impressed and just as much worried!!! I was wondering when Arnold Schwarzenegger would make a good movie again (let's face it, "End of Days" wasn't exactly his greatest hit!). I have to admit that even though this movie is not his best, it is one of his better ones. Of course it's not all Arnold's fault. The scenario itself is plausible and the timing is actually excellent for the release of the film, but, I do not like the delivery. The message is there but it just ain't getting through as well as it could have in the hands of ...  Read the complete review
