My Experience
For some reason I thought this film was going to be about a woman who got drunk and married someone she'd only just met and then forgot all about it. That would've at least been more believable than the storyline here.
I do believe that this film is supposed to be a romcom but there isn't actually many laughs at all here in fact I found the whole movie quite dull.
Consideriing what a good cast the film has the acting isn't that great with the best performances coming from Jeffery Dean Morgan as Patrick and Sam Shepard as Wilder (Emma's dad). The characters aren't even likeable I found it hard to warm to Emma even when the character began to soften up.
As with most romcoms the ending is predictable but maybe in this film more so than usual or maybe it's just that because I had found the movie so dull, in the end I really didn't care what happened to the characters.
Overall
Jeffery Dean Morgan kind of redeems the film but only slighty and not enough for me to recommend it.
Running Time: 90 mins
Cert: 12A

Summary: A very poor excuse for a romcom
