In THE ARRIVAL, Charlie Sheen plays a radio astronomer names Zane Ziminski who has been spending his time trying to find signs of life in space. When he receives a signal which definately shows that 'something is out there', he gives the evidence to his boss but his boss destroys it. Then the rest of his life (including his girlfriend, played by the gorgeous Teri Pole) gets completely turned upside down. Zane Zaminsky (Charlie Sheen) is a dedicated astronomer who has listened for aliens for years. One night his greatest wish comes true when he stumbles across an alien signal coming from deep space. When Zane tries to get the sound investigated he is suddenly fired and anybody associated with him starts to die or disappear. He cannot rest and his determination leads him to find out what is behind this signal. Charlie Sheen is brilliant in this role and the whole film is built around his character.
