Advantages: Brilliant dvd set to keep

Disadvantages: lot of cricket, too much to watch at once!

The best series ever? This was the series that personally really captured my attention and made me watch and finally start playing cricket, and i thank it for that. The sheer excitement in this series shows cricket in its best light with both sides going all out for the win! This box set certainly gives the very best highlights of what was a magnificent series and outstanding achievement by our cricketers. A fun and thrilling watch for all you English cricket fans. The dvd picks up on all aspects on and around the ashes, the overvoice's exciting and dramatic tone really does liven up the dvd. Watching each test back to back is not the way to watch this, no one likes 9 hours of solid cricket mo matter how good it is. But its great to watch session by session and breather every twist and turn in every match. Another great asset this dvd has is that its one to keep and keep flicking back to every year or so, you really do forget what went on in each match and so its seems so much more special to rewatch it. The whole box set is nicely summed up with the last section of the last dvd watching England finally receive the ashes, let the celebrations begin, on the dvd, and in your lounge! This really is a great box set and one to treasure for years to come (as we may not win many more!)
