Not only do we get the Ron Goodwin score that the film “Battle Of Britain” was released with, but it also includes the Sir William Walton score that was not used, except for one piece, “Battle In The Air”. There are a number of reasons why Waltons’ efforts were knocked back. Some accounts say the filmmakers thought there was not enough of it.
