This is one of Jackie's first attempts at cracking the US movie market. Although he made guest appearances in Cannonball Run 1 & 2, he played a backseat role to be fair. Here he is given the leading role of a young fighter who is training for the upcoming Battle Creek Brawl, a street fighting competition for fighters from all over - last man standing wins. His character trains with an old and wise kung-fu master, who teaches him how to improve he rythem, technique and speed, anything to give him the edge.
