Advantages: useful toe-nail painting time?
Disadvantages: a complete waste of celluloid
I cannot believe the hype this film received. I watched it last night on pay-per-view and honestly wish I'd saved my £3. I watch loads of different types of films, and always start with an open mind, regardless of the reviews the film may/may not have received; but I have to say, I sat, bored out of my brains for the whole time this film was on. The camera work was annoying (yes, I know it was "part" of the atmosphere), the lead female was even more irritating and the story was practically non-existant. As for the ending - what happened??????? I'm convinced I must've missed the whole point of the film, but dh agreed. He said he was intrigued the whole way through, until the end and then announced it hadn't been worth watching (and he'll watch ANYTHING!!!). Sorry folks, IMO a waste of an hour and a quarter of your life, go watch paint dry instead.

- 10/11/00 great opinion! just what I was thinkin! If I were you, I would go see Blair Witch2: Book of Shadows as that film has got to be one of the best this year! It basically is the first film, with better actors and without the bad camera work! very scary! |
