This film is about three student film makers who went into the woods filming a documentary on the local legend the Blair Witch! All the critics and all your mates probably told you what a rubbish film this was. But if you give it a chance, its great! The reason this film got such low marks is because when we go to see a horror movie we expect gore and expensive affects. Well this film ditches that. It relies on good old fashion ways of building tension. This film actually has a place in the record books for the lowest budget film ever made. It only coast around £11.000 pounds. Who ever made this film was extremely skilled because this film is so atmospheric. It really does make you believe that you are lost in the woods with these three students This is one of the films that you have to listen to at the start to understand what happens in the end. Heres a brief review about what happens in the film: To start off there documentary the students film people telling them what they believe about the Blair Witch. They get a mixed reaction. Then they come to the woods. It all seems to go very well for the first day. Then the second day they start to believe that they are lost and the students fight among them self. The next day they realised they are helplessly lost. The nights keep on becoming freakier and freakier. The tent gets trashed and there stuff stolen. They can’t decide what it is. Then one night they here children screaming in pain. When one of the students goes missing they become worried. Then that night they here him screaming in pain. They trace it to a house……….and Thats all I’m going tell you. I will give you a clue. If the end of the film doesn’t make sense to you, watch the interviews at the beginning of the film again. This is a great film. It is very atmospheric. Do not buy this film if you like big expensive affects because this film doesn’t have them. Thi
s film builds tension in old fashion ways and it works superbly. This is a amazing film and really should be brought straight away
