A review of just the film. Mondo Macabro does a region free version that goes for about a tenner on amazon. This is a French horror from 1970. It treads a very familiar horror path, but isn't a complete waste of time. A famous artist, Lansac, marries a very attractive young woman called Anne. An unfortunate accident leaves her hideously scarred, and obviously a chap can't be expected to love an ugly woman. As luck would have it, a dodgy plastic surgeon works in Lansac's exotic plant laboratory (whuh?), and soon someone comes up with the bright idea of killing a pretty girl to graft her face onto Anne.
