Advantages: Funny, great storyline & soundtrack

Disadvantages: Going on abit longer than it probably should

The Boat That Rocked is brought to by Director Richard Curtis, who has previosuly brought us titles such as Four Weddings & A Funeral, Notting Hill & Love Actually. I love all of those movies so had high hopes for his latest effort.

Without giving away too much of the storyline, the film is based on a pirate radio station based in the middle of the North Sea & follows the adventures of the wild & wacky DJ's who are on board!

The result is a very funny film with a great cast and a storyline that will keep you interested all the way through the movie. The soundtrack is another plus composed mainly of music from the 60s which is refreshing change to other movie soundtracks out there. One of my favourite cast members is Bill Nighy, who also stared in Love Actually, he puts in a brilliant performance in his role as Quentin.

I've already seen this film twice & still think it's superb, can't wait to watch it for a third time. If you want light hearted feel good film that will have you in giggles all the way through, The Boat That Rocked is definetly for you.

Summary: Well worth watching!
