Advantages: Good Crime Thriller, Angelina Jolie
Disadvantages: none
Lincoln Rhyme(played by Denzel Washington) was a NYPD Homocide expert at a crime scene when he was suddenly injured in the line of duty. Due to this he has been paralysed from the neck down and now directs operations from his bed. A report is called in about a hand mysteriously sticking out of the ground. It turns out that two people had got into a taxi cab and been abducted and murdered. The gruesome finger on the hand points towards the rail line and there are some mystic clues left for Amelia Donaghy(Angelina Jolie). Amelia manages to stop a train from disturbing the evidence left on the rail line. Amelia Donaghy is a normal Police Officer walking the streets and is asked to handle the case with the assistance of Lincoln Rhyme. The clues left at the scenes end up making a jigsaw when put together and spell out one of the clues(I shall not mention anymore about the clues incase I spoil the film). Amelia is made to find the clues and check the scene for evidence and is basically Lincoln's eyes as she describes the scene and returns with the clues to examine. The NYPD are fighting a race against time to try and save some more innocent victims from this psychotic serial killer, Will they succeed?? A great Crime/Detective film to watch although there are a few scenes that are slightly distressing for those with weak stomachs so be warned!. This film has a 15 rating on it. The additional add ons on this DVD include: Audio Setup Language Choice Multiple Language Choice Scene Selections Directors Commentary Featurette which lasts for 22minutes Filmographies Isolated Music Score Theatrical Trailer Trailer - Devil in a blue dress As you can see there are a number of extras so paying the price of around £17 is'nt bad value. I would recommend this film to anybody who is into Thrillers. The film lasts for approximately one hour and thirteen minutes. This DVD is ava
ilable at most record stores who sell DVD's and is priced around £17 depending on where you purchase it from.
