Advantages: excellent storyline, dramatic plot, meaningful film, hot actors, great characters
Disadvantages: none
This movie is beyond awesome. I absolutely loved it. It is probably one of my favorite movies out there. It is full of action and sends a very powerful message to the world. The actors in this film are also incredibly attractive which makes the movie all that more entertaining.
This movie follows two Irish Catholic brothers living in Boston named Conner and Murphy MacManus, played by the incredibly attractive Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus who take it upon themselves to punish criminals and sinners who are either only breaking moral laws and cannot be arrested for those moral crimes or are living above the law.
These two religious brothers have taken it upon themselves to provide the punishment that these lowlifes who have avoided punishment for far too long. However, when these two hit the big time by taking down some very bad mobsters using brute force and insane violence. There is a lot of blood and guts in this movie, but it is still an amazing film. This massacre attracts the attention of some very high up FBI agents including Paul Smecker, played by the talented Williams Defoe, who is obsessed with finding these vigilantes before they can do more harm.
However, when Paul figures out the identities of these religious vigilantes he finds himself having a hard time turning them in because these men have taken down people in the mob who have been wreaking havoc on the world for years who has been unable to touch because of the laws that he must follow. Now this straight arrow FBI agent must decide where his morals and loyalty lie.
This movie is beyond exciting and full of suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire film.
