This show was first recommended to me by a female friend who said she though it was absolutely hilarious. After sitting down and watching the show on television I must say that I wasn't amused at all and didn't laugh once all the way through the show.

She lent me this DVD and promised that it would change my opinion, so I decided to give it a bash. No. Nothing. In all honesty, I cannot see what is funny about any of the scenes or sketched which just seem to have no particular point and no particular punchline or even construction of a joke.

Catherine Tate plays her way through many different totally pointless characters which have nothing remotely funny about them and don't do or say anything funny at all. Basically, in my opinion she is trying to get a laugh by acting like your average immature teenage school girl.
