I actually missed all the snow too, but we don't want the Snow Queen back (even though Tilda Swinton was great as her - actually making an appearance in this film too). Basically in the first film the children (Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy), who are all siblings, are sent as evacuees to an elderly gentleman's house where the youngest, Lucy, finds an old wardrobe to play hide and seek ...more

Caspian, the rightful heir to the Telmarine throne goes on the run from his evil uncle. Trapped by wild Narnian creatures in the woods he blows on the horn of last resort and awaits the help of the King's of old. Peter, Susan, Edward and Lucy are waiting to go to boarding school when they feel the World shift and they are dragged back into a Narnia that has changed since their last visit. Can they join with Prince Caspian and his ragtag Narnian army to overthrow his evil uncle Miraz? "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" is the second movie in a series that should need no introduction. C.S Lewis's books are the stuff of legend and are a part ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Not As Magical as the First (1122 words)

After both me and hubby thoroughly enjoyed watching The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe we could not wait to watch the next instalment from the Narnia series. I have to say that this did cause some argument between us! At the start of the film we see a baby boy being born and the father sending word that he wants Prince Caspian now killed so his son will be the only heir to the throne. Caspian is warned about this from a Professor who helps him escape and gives him a horn and says he is to sound it when he is in mortal danger and has no way out. The horn will get help to him. We then meet Peter, Lucy, Edmund and Susan who are on their way to ...  Read the complete review

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was released in 2008 and is the filmed version of the book of the same name, which was written by C.S Lewis. Both the film and the book are the sequels to the film and the book entitles The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The film details what happens when Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, the Pevensie siblings, return to Narnia the land they love so much. The first film saw the Pevensie children stumble into the astounding world of Narnia, meet Aslan and defeat the White Witch that was keeping Narnia encapsulated in ice. There reward for this was to be crowned the Kings and Queens of the place ...  Read the complete review

The only thing standing in his way is the rightful heir to the throne Prince Caspian, however this does not stop the evil Miraz who sets out to kill him causing Caspian to flee for his life to the woods. As he flees he is given a magic horn and told to blow it in an emergency. When he is about to be captured he blows the horn and then the film jumps to a scene in ...  Read the complete review

Prince Caspian is the second film in the Chronicles of Narnia series that is directed by kiwi Andrew Adamson. It introduces new up and coming actor Ben Barnes in the title role as well as bringing back the 4 original Pevensie children from the first film. The story- After the events of the first film, the Pevensies are now the Kings and Queens of Narnia. They are then returned to our world where a year goes by and they are back to being normal, average kids. Some adjusted better than other and we see that the eldest, Peter, has found it tough to be just a kid again. Meanwhile in Narnia, 1300 years has flown by and we meet Prince Caspian, whose Uncle is trying ...  Read the complete review
