I like this movie and have watched it quite a few times now without getting bored of it!
The movie is about a young, very unfashionable girl who applied and gets a job working as a personal assistant for the editor in chief and the most respected and feared woman working for Runway fashion magazine. She does this to eventually land a job as a journalist, but has to endure a year of being a personal assistant first.
The movie is about the transformation of this girl 'Andy' from a girl who always put her boyfriend and her friends first and who did not care at all about what people thought about her appearance, into a fashion concious girl who has to put her career before anything else in her life (including her best friends and her boyfriend). She pushes her friends and her boyfriend away for her job, but in the end realises that she has been stupid and realises what is more important in life.
I think that this movie really makes you think about your own life and put things into perspective, its a good watch.
