The exterminator really delivers the goods. The cover states "In war, you have to kill to stay alive..... on the streets of new york, its often the same." The film starts in the vietnam war and shows how two american soldiers, Jefferson and Eastland, escape from the V.C. Then the titles roll and it cuts to the two of them, after the war working on the docks, still looking out for other. I can remember watching this film years ago and thinking how good it was. If I saw it now, I may think the opposite. Set in early 80's New York (I think!) two 'Nam buddies work on the docks. One gets attacked by hoods and gets a bailing hook in the spine paralysing him. Revenge is on the mind of his friend. The whole film is centred on the ruthless cutting down of those involved with or guilty of attacking his friend. This film has the famous industrial meat mincer scene!
