Advantages: great storyline, really makes you think, great actors, great characters

This movie is so touching it will make you cry. It is one of those movies that teaches the lesson of you don't know what you've got till its gone. This movie does a perfect job of portraying that fact. The movie is reminiscent of It's a Wonderful Life, accept it obviously puts a modern spin on things. Nicholas Cage and Tea Leoni are fabulous in this movie and use their excellent acting skills to portray these intricate characters.

Jack Campbell, played by Nicolas Cage, is a single man living alone and working way to much. In this movie Jack gets to look at what his life would have been like if he had stayed together with his high school sweetheart and true love, Kate, played by Tea Leoni. Thirteen years earlier Jack took an internship at a brokerage that completely shut his relationship with Kate down. The internship took him away from Kate for an entire year. While the two believed that after the year was up they would end up back together, but Jack ended up staying away and advancing his career on Wall Street instead of returning home to the supposed love of his life.

However, when Jack gets to go back and see what it would have been like if he hadn't accepted the internship. Jack goes to sleep one night and when he wakes up he is laying next to his now wife Kate in a house he has never seen before and meeting his daughter Anne, played by Makenzie Vega, for the very first time and a brand new baby that was just brought into this world. Now Jack gets to experience the life that he missed out on and realize that having people you love and who love you in your life are much more important than having success and money when your alone.

Great and sweet movie and I highly recommend it.
