This is, I think, one of the most underrated sequels of 80s horror. It's main problem is that it follows David Cronenberg's The Fly, which was not only a true classic, but worked on a number of different levels, rare for horror at the time. This sequel has no such pretenses, and just goes all out for an entertainingly squishy ride, though one that still manages to be a cut above the rest. Eric Stoltz plays the son of Seth Brundle, the fly from the original. He grows to the physical and mental age of about 20 in 5 years.
