Advantages: Awesome set-pieces with some comedy moments thrown in for good measure

I borrowed this BlueRay disc from my parents to try out my new ps3/HD tv combo and found it both a very entertaining film and very impressive in detail and picture quality.

The film stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li and to me appeared to be a typical Jackie Chan romp...great fun, great action but a fairly standard storyline.

There are some slow areas in the film which I guess you need to explain the storyline, characters, etc but these are more than made up for with some of the most impressive action scenes I've seen.

I've always loved Jackie Chan's films for their mix of comedy moments with incredibly impressive martial arts stunts and sequences, but I must say that some of the sequences in this film are right up there with the best I've seen in any film.

The picture quality blew me away too, but bear in mind this was my first experience of a BlueRay disc and as such have nothing to compare it to. But I was impressed at even being able to see the pores in the actors' skin and detail in the scenery that I'm sure would have just been blurred on a normal DVD on a normal TV

In short, an enjoyable, if typical, Jackie Chan romp with some VERY impressive set pieces.
