After almost the entire film is over, Brian De Palma's 'Carrie' finishes on a hilariously cheap shock, a dream sequence which turns Carrie from a sympathetic victim to nasty psycho zombie. 'The Fury', De Palma's next film and a continuation of the psycho psychic theme, is kind of like that last five minutes all the way through. Directed by Brian de Palma, this film is in the vain of Carrie which he made 2 years earlier. This is an excellent, fast paced and well acted horror movie about two teenagers with psychic powers who are wanted by the CIA to be used as a weapon against the Russians. They are trained in using their powers, but kids get angry at being used and lose control of their powers, resulting in an explosive ending.
