This film is one that I have just had to buy for my children - but don't tell them that I bought it for me too!
It is about a group of children who when their houses are about to be taken from their parents decide to take their minds off reality and go in search for a load of lost treasure belonging to 1 eyed Willy.
They meet up with a gang of crooks and spend most of the movie trying to beat them to the loot. But that is just the basic storyline. There is loads of adventure, suspense and laughter through this hillarious movie.
The best thing about this film is not only that it is directed by one of the world's best directors, Steven Spielberg, but also that every child in the film has something that they class as making them different.
One child has braces, one asthmatic, one an inventors nightmare son, one chubby, and even one of the bad guys turns out to be a friend.
Great for a laugh, for tears and for fantasy on a cold night. Worthy of anyone's eyes to watch.It's the type of movie that brings back all those childish dreams and when watching you soon get engrossed and forget that you are the parent.
