The Goonies Is pretty much my favourite film of all time, it's a film that grounds my existance and is always there for me come hard times.

I suppose it's the ultimate portrait of a happy childhood- complete with treasure pirates romance and crime fighting, enough for every wide eyed child.

It stars one of my favourite actors of all time Corey Feldman- sadly he has fallen from grace some what- but hey bright stars burn fast.

It is also so clearly a film of the eighties that it reminds me of better times- before we knew about global warming and aids and all those depressing things.

Basically this is a film for anyone who loves adventure- go buy it now!
