'It lives, it crawls. And suddenly it kills.' Michael Caine plays one of his sweatiest and crazy 80's haired characters ever in Oliver Stone's early horror effort. Caine's hair comes very close to stealing the show - in fact in the Michael Caine film book I've recently read describes it as a 'white man's afro'. This film, along with 'The Island' and 'Dressed to Kill' show Caine entering the world of early 80's horror, a genre he would steer clear of as he started getting Oscar noms. To sum it up, Caine plays Jonathan Lansdale, a cartoonist who loses his hand in a freak car accident. The hand then comes to life and starts killing people. That's the ...
