Advantages: Well made movie, very entertaining

Disadvantages: Might be too far fetched for some

The Hangover is a great farce movie. It really pushes the boundaries of what you expect could happen. It's basically about 4 friends who go to Vegas for a stag party.

Fortunatley for us they get drugged by mistake and wake up the next morning in amazing circumstances. There is a tiger in the bathroom, one has a tooth missing, and the groom himself is nowhere to be seen.

The movie then follows as the three remaining guys try to find the groom. This involves trcing their steps and finding out about some extremely bad things they did the night before.

This isn't your run of the mill dumbed down 'buddy comedy', this is a well made movie. The men did terrible things that they couldn't remember. It is great fun watching as they unravel the previous nights' antics and face the consequences. They have to face Mike Tyson (it was his tiger they stole), pay off gangsters (the leader they had kidnapped), and try and get out of a marriage one entered into with a prostitute.

It all sounds very far fetched and stupid, but it actually works brilliantly and is certainly one of the best comedies of 2009.
