Advantages: Classic
Disadvantages: low-budget causes mistakes
I bought this movie on DVD for £5.99. I had head about it so i went out and bought it.
All i can say is they dont make 'em like they use to.
This movie got me interested from the start. I always wanted to know what happened next and even got a bit scared at some points. It also got me a bit sad when the dog got killed:(
I wont spoil the movie by revealing all the plot but basically it's a story about a family who break down in the desert where they lie prey for a bunch of cannibals. It's a good story but i knew what would happen next.
This movie is much better than any modern horror film. However, due to the low budget they do make some mistakes like the light on the caravan. It's a good movie and well-worth the £5.99 i paid for it.
I enjoyed this film and will be watching the remake later tonight to compare.
Summary: A good horror film

steerpyke - 02.07.06 sorry but the review tells me no more that i have worked out from the trailers on TV. You need to write about your views on the film, why you liked it, a over view of the plot, what works, what doesnt. I have no idea what your reference the light on the caravan is as I havent seen the film and you don't actually explain what you mean. Whose in the film? Who made it? anything would have been nice. |
